Democracywise

Democracywise is an experimental new Web site to help more people -- not just political junkies -- engage in politics and public affairs. It is a collaboration of two journalism professors, Charlotte Grimes and Sean McNaughton, at the Newhouse School. Democracywise offers basic knowledge and information for everyone to participate in democracy -- everything from stories about candidates and issues to a democracy toolkit on the nuts and bolts of registering to vote. The stories are from political reporting students at the Newhouse School. And Democracywise welcomes YOUR insights, story ideas, questions and expertise.
