Onondaga County Board of Elections:

You can register in person at the Board of Elections Office or by mail. You may also register at any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year

You can call the Board of Elections at (315) 435-8683 to request a voter application.

Print and complete the form, then sign and date it.

Mail or hand deliver Voter Registration Forms to: Onondaga County Board of Election 1000 Erie Boulevard, West Syracuse, New York 13204

ALL FORMS and APPLICATIONS MUST BE MAILED or HAND DELIVERED TO THE BOARD of ELECTIONS.

Registration applications cannot be be faxed.

VOTER INFORMATION

PRIMARY ELECTION September 12, 2017 MAIL REGISTRATION August 18     Last day to postmark an application to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election.

IN PERSON REGISTRATION August 18    Last day to register at your local board of elections or any state agency  participating in the National Voter Registration Act, to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election.  

GENERAL ELECTION November 7, 2017 MAIL REGISTRATION by October 13     Last day to postmark an application to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

IN PERSON REGISTRATION October 13  Last day to register at your local board of elections or any state agency  participating in the National Voter Registration Act, to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

October 13   Last day to accept a change of party enrollment.                        October 28  Last day to register in person at the Board of Elections if you have been honorably discharged from the military, became a naturalized citizen or are a registered voter who has moved within the county after October 13th.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS October 31st - Last day to postmark application for absentee ballot. November 6th- Last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot & last day to postmark ballot for general the election. November 7th- Last day to deliver an absentee ballot in person to your county board of elections.
