Onondaga County Board of Elections:

You can register in person at the Board of Elections Office or by mail. You may also register at any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year

You can call the Board of Elections at (315) 435-8683 to request a voter application.

Print and complete the form, then sign and date it.

Mail or hand deliver Voter Registration Forms to: Onondaga County Board of Election 1000 Erie Boulevard, West Syracuse, New York 13204

ALL FORMS and APPLICATIONS MUST BE MAILED or HAND DELIVERED TO THE BOARD of ELECTIONS.

Registration applications can not be be faxed.

Primary Day - Thursday Sept 10, 2015 Polls opn Noon- 9 PM

Register in person by Friday, August 14, or by mail: Postmarked by Saturday, August 15 and received by August 21, 2015

  • Apply for absentee ballot in person by Wednesday, September 9, 2015
  • Apply for absentee ballot by mail: postmarked by Thursday, September 3, 2015
  • Deliver ballot in person by Thursday, September 10
  • Deliver ballot by mail: postmarked by Wednesday, September 9 and received by Thursday, September 17, 2015

General Election - Tuesday, November 3, 2015 Polls open 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM

REGISTRATION: Register in person by Friday, October 9, 2015

  • Register by mail: Postmarked by Friday, October 9, 2015; received by Wednesday, October 14.
  • Apply for absentee ballot in person by Monday, November 2, 2015

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT:

  • Apply for absentee ballot by mail: postmarked by Tuesday, October 27
  • Deliver ballot in person by Tuesday, November 3, 2015
  • Deliver ballot by mail: postmarked by Monday, November 2, 2015; received by Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
