How to Register to Vote:
You can register in person at the Board of Elections Office or by mail. You may also register at any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year
You can call the Board of Elections at (315) 435-8683 to request a voter application.

Print and complete the form, then sign and date it.
Mail or hand deliver Voter Registration Forms to:

ALL FORMS and APPLICATIONS MUST BE MAILED or HAND DELIVERED TO THE BOARD of ELECTIONS.
Registration applications can not be be faxed.

Fall Primary Day - Tuesday, September 9, 2008
Polls open 12 Noon - 9:00 PM
General Election - Tuesday, November 4, 2008
Polls open 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER FOR THE SEPTEMBER PRIMARY
REGISTRATION:
Mail registration must be postmarked no later than
August 15th and received by the Board of Elections by August 20th. You may register in person at the Board of Elections up to August 15th.
Change of address from registered voters must be received by August 20th.
VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT:
Last day to postmark application for ballot is September 2nd. Last day to apply in person for ballot is September 8th. Last day to postmark ballot is September 8th (must be received by the Board of Elections by September 16th). Last day to deliver ballot in person to the Board of Elections is September 9th.
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION
REGISTRATION:
Mail registration must be received by the Board of Elections no later than October 10th and received by the Board of Elections no later than October 15th. You may register in person at the Board of Elections no later than October 10th.
Change of address from registered voters must be received by October 15th.
VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT:
Last day to postmark application is October 28th. Last day to apply in person for ballot is November 3rd. Last day to postmark ballot is November 3rd (must be received by the Board of Elections by November 11th). Last day to deliver ballot in person is November 4th.
