August 26, 2016 marks the 96th anniversary of the Woman Suffrage Movement's great victory the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This courageous political campaign was carried out by tens of thousand of persistent women and men.

An outcome of this historic event led to the formation of the League of Women Voters. During the next four years there will be celebrations across the country as we approach the 100th anniversary of these milestones in American History. Locally and on the state level the League will join the celebration. Stay tuned for more information!
